Data & Self-Assessment

Data plays a pivotal role in identifying strengths and opportunities when developing an implementation plan. Intentionally moving slowly up the “ladder of inference” helps ensure that we are analyzing the data with curiosity before drawing any definitive conclusions. Equipped with relevant data and this methodical approach to data analysis, we can then self-assess to paint a more accurate picture of the current school landscape. The School Implementation Certification Criteria (SICC) is used as a tool to self-assess according to the four primary domains of UDL Implementation: school culture & environment, teaching & learning, leadership & management, and professional learning.
