How do we coach for UDL?

Coaching for UDL is like any other craft--it requires skill and intentionality. As a skill, we can practice and refine certain strategies, protocols, and moves to support teachers who are applying UDL to their classroom practices. Instructional leaders and coaches are poised to offer new possible ways of thinking and new possibilities for curricular design through the lens of UDL. Ultimately, coaching opportunities help build reflective habits and UDL "muscles," converting teachers into expert learners of their own practice.
