Aligning Initiatives 

How might you use UDL to increase access and agency in literacy across all initiatives?

The administrators and county coaches continued their learning journey to design a living implementation plan. To do so, they reflected on how UDL was first introduced to their respective counties and schools. We call this "the doorway to UDL." With this specific perspective in mind, school leaders were then able to consider how to align other initiatives with UDL. Aligning initiatives is part of the vision, and it helps school leadership teams create coherence and support effective, efficient and sustainable UDL implementation towards common goals. In essence, this kind of alignment is aimed to enhancing the potential of all the initiatives.
